This commission required a review and update of the existing Masterplan for the University Campus on behalf of the Buildings and Estates Office at UCC. The University, which was founded in 1849 has a current enrollment of 16,000 students. The campus encompasses over 96 acres in the City of Cork. Our involvement included the following:

• Review of the history of the development of the campus
• Assessment of current strategic, academic and development plans which relate to the campus
• Analysis of the physical context of the campus
• Review of accommodation requirements
• Formulation of strategies for the future development of the campus

The commission was undertaken in collaboration with Building Design Partnership and was completed in early 2011.
